Man Impersonates Federal Agent in Road Rage, Handcuffs Teen and Takes him to his House…

We all know that road rage can escalate to the point of serious physical violence (remember this Brazilian lady or these two men?), but an incident in Port Jefferson, New York, took an unexpected twist when a man posing as a federal agent allegedly arrested the other driver.

The key word here is posing as 39-year-old David Bradley is actually an insurance agent in real life and not an officer of the law.

Russian Driver Scolds Cops for Not Wearing Seat Belts and Talking on the Phone

In what might one of the funniest encounters between a civilian driver and Russian police officers we've seen to date, a man captures two cops in a car completely off guard when he opens the window of his BMW (perhaps that may have something to do with it…) and tells them off for not wearing their seat belts and talking on the phone.

If you have 30 seconds to spare, hop over the break to watch the clip.

Motorcyclist on a Suzuki Hayabusa Turbo Tries to Outwit Cops

Before we give you as short description of what's going on here, let us note that like the video poster points out, we do not promote this kind behavior because aside from the obvious (um, that would be breaking the law...), you could end up hurting yourself and/or another person on the road.

The motorcyclist appearing in this video shot from inside a car on the highway, is said to be riding a very powerful and evidently, extremely fast, Suzuki Hayabusa Turbo.

Mother Straps Fuel Tank on Safety Seat, Leaves Toddler Unbuckled…

And the award for the most reckless mother of the year goes to…a Colorado woman who had her two children, a 14 year old and a toddler, sitting in the car without seatbelts but had a small gas tank strapped on the child's safety seat.

It sounds like a joke but there's photo proof as the police officer who pulled over Sandra Ramirez during a routine stop in Aurora, Colorado, on May 30, snapped a shot of what he encountered in the car for the "Click It or Ticket" campaign.

The Force is Strong with this One: Darth Vader Successfully Appeals Parking Ticket

In a not so far, far away land called New York City, a man impersonating Darth Vader with a heavy-breathing Brooklyn accent was captured on film last month quibbling with a traffic cop over a parking ticket that he had received while promoting interest in Star Wars during a 5th Avenue Street fair in Brooklyn.

However, the traffic trooper completely snubbed Darth Vader...

Man Erects Jeremy Clarkson Scarecrow in Front of His House to Slow Traffic

A Northumberland village man named Christopher Hodgkinson has set up a creepy looking scarecrow of sorts dressed as a police officer with a printed version of Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson as his face and a…hairdryer as a speed gun, right in front of his house to deter drivers from speeding! Ford Taurus and Dodge Charger Cop Cars Chase Down a 2013 Ford Shelby GT500

With 662 SAE-certified ponies kicking under its hood, the revamped 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 promises to be the meanest pony car on the road offering Ferrari (straight-line) performance for Ford prices (the coupe starts at US$54,200).

When the crew over at Motor Trend magazine got their hands on the new Shelby GT500 in, they wanted to do something out of the ordinary so they assembled the new 2013 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor and 2012 Dodge Charger Police Pursuit, to create a short film of sorts.

Oh Russia, Cops in Pursuit of Lime Green Nissan GT-R…

With all the odd and crazy things we have seen taking place on Russian roads thanks to the widespread use of dashboard mounted cameras over the past years, one could say that nothing surprises us anymore.

All the same, we cannot say that we remember seeing a police officer filming a pursuit on a hand held camera (or cell phone), but we guess there is a first for everything in Russia these days… Perhaps the explanation is that the cop was an avid fan of the Nissan GT-R, who knows.

Anyway, the two Moscow cops in the Ford Focus managed to catch up to the lime-green Nissan GT-R R35, but only because the latter gave up. One of the police officers approaches the car, politely tips his hat and asks for the driver's license and registration. The driver then exits the GT-R and gets into the cop's car, at which point the video ends.

Chinese Motorcyclist Attacks Cop with a Knife for Pulling Him Over!

No one likes being stopped on the road by a police officer for a traffic violation and while complaining or simply trying to justify your actions to avoid a ticket is part of the game, there is really no point in taking to the next level.

Try telling that to this motorcyclist, though. After a cop on foot pulled him over, the man on scooter blew a gasket and grabbed a large knife stacked in his bike and started chasing the officer! And all this on a busy street in broad daylight!

Do You English Speak? Russian Driver Tries to Fool Ukrainian Cops

There is no denying that searching for a way to avoid a speeding or a parking ticket is a universal behavior that transcends both society and race.

A pair of Russians who were driving their car through the Ukraine was caught speeding by the local cops. As you would imagine, the two men wanted to dismiss the ticket so they came up with the bright of idea of speaking in English, convinced that the Ukrainian police officers would not understand a word they said.

And indeed, the first cop who approached their car did not speak English, which of course, made the two men happy. However, the euphoria did not last long as there was a second officer on hand who happened to know English

Head past the jump to watch the video.

Polar Bear Driving a Mercedes-Benz Pulled Over and Arrested – No Really

Plucked from the weird depths of YouTube is this dashboard-camera footage that begins with a Mercedes-Benz A-Class being pulled over by someone that appears to be an undercover cop – how else would you explain the blue jeans and leather jacket?

The cop comes out of his car and approaches the Mercedes sub-compact model. He then takes the driver's license and returns to his vehicle, at which point this incident gets really creepy...

Unmarked NYPD Police Car Chases and Pulls Over Bicyclist

We are not saying that police officers shouldn't pull over a bicyclist if the rider breaks the law, but it's really not that often that we see it happening, even more so on film.

According to the YouTube poster, the bicyclist ran through a red light at the intersection of 6th Avenue and West Houston Street and was caught by an unmarked New York Police Department Chevy Impala sedan.

The bicyclist is said to have received a US$270 (€208) fine. Head past the break to watch the video.

The Real Fast & Furious: Turbocharged Acura Integra Eludes Cops

Most people pull over when they see the red and blue lights and hear the siren from a police car, but not this driver of what appears to be a turbocharged Acura Integra coupe from the mid-to-late-1990s.

At first, the driver of the Integra slows down and steers toward the side of the road when the police officer signals him but as the cop car approaches, he suddenly makes a swift U-turn and makes a run for it.

According to this video shot from the police car's in-board camera, he actually managed to break free, despite the cop's efforts to catch up – at least for the time being, that is… Watch the video right past the break.

Chevrolet Caprice Police and Detective Patrol Cars Appear on eBay

While General Motors never intended to offer the Chevrolet Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle (PPV) to the public, used examples of the Holden-based and built large sedan can be found on eBay.

As a matter of fact, there are three Chevrolet Caprice currently up for grabs on the popular online marketplace including two PPVs, one in white and the other painted in the traditional black and white colors (without any emblems, of course), and a stealthier model with the Detective Package.

All three Caprice models are powered by GM's 6.0-liter V8 engine with 355 horsepower and 384 lb-ft torque, hooked up to a six-speed automatic driving the rear wheels.

The Chevrolet Caprice is based on the Australian market Holden Caprice, without all the bells and whistles. The Caprice itself is a long-wheelbase version of the Commodore and Pontiac G8 models.

Throwing Yourself in Front of a Car Can Prove Hazardous for Your Health in Russia

You cannot even commit suicide in Russia these days without getting your arse whooped, though to be honest, the jury is still out on whether the man seen in this video was attempting to end his life or if he was trying to pull an insurance fraud.

Whatever the case, the driver of the vehicle was in no mood for games and beat the living daylights out of the man seconds before the police arrived – which is a strange coincidence in itself.

Surprisingly, the man in the car drove off as if nothing had happened. Watch the dashcam footage in the video after the break.

Another Vietnamese Cop Taken for a Wild Ride on a Fleeing Truck

After watching the second incident in less than a month of a Vietnamese police officer jumping on a moving vehicle to confront a driver that refused to stop, we can only assume that this is something that must happen on a regular basis in the country.

In the previous episode, it was a passenger bus, while now, the camera of a passenger in an adjacent vehicle filmed a Vietnamese cop clinging on to the windshield wipers of a large truck.

Vietnam Cop Holds on to Bus' Windshield Wipers as Driver Tries to Escape Ticket!

We have heard many strange stories about police officers and drivers that try to avoid tickets, but what took place in Hanoi, Vietnam, this past Monday, surely takes the cake.

The man you see hanging on to the windshield wipers of a bus is not the local version of Spiderman but a very devoted Hanoi cop.

According to local news site Dantri, police officer Phan Nguyen Manh stopped the driver of the passenger bus, Phung Hong Phuong, in the Ba Vi District for a traffic violation. However, the bus driver refused to show his license and papers and instead chose to drive away, at which point, Manh jumped in front of the vehicle!

Houston Police Show us how Thieves Can Strip a Honda Accord in Less than 10 Minutes

We don't know if you've seen this video that was sent to us by Carscoop reader Matt R., but it's pretty darn impressive.

Back in 2010, the Houston Police Department's Auto Theft Division teamed up with Allstate Insurance to demonstrate just how fast your vehicle can be stripped down to the bone for parts using an older generation Honda Accord sedan.

Three workers from auto body shops in Chicago were able to complete the feat in a mere 8 minutes and 19 seconds! Hop over the jump to watch the video.
