Fatal Accident with Ferrari 599 GTO Leaves Three Dead in Singapore, Sparks Anti-Foreign Sentiment

A horrific accident that took place in Singapore this past Saturday leaving three people dead and two seriously injured has fueled an outrage in the country.

The crash was captured on film by a vehicle that was not involved in the incident. The video footage shows a blue Hyundai Sonata taxicab pulling ahead a couple of seconds after the green light goes on.

As the taxi reaches the middle of the crossing, we see a speeding red car, later recognized as a rare Sg$1.8 million (US$1.43 million) Ferrari 599 GTO, smashing into the blue sedan. The Ferrari most likely ran a red light. According to reports, the taxi then hit a motorcyclist.

Another Vietnamese Cop Taken for a Wild Ride on a Fleeing Truck

After watching the second incident in less than a month of a Vietnamese police officer jumping on a moving vehicle to confront a driver that refused to stop, we can only assume that this is something that must happen on a regular basis in the country.

In the previous episode, it was a passenger bus, while now, the camera of a passenger in an adjacent vehicle filmed a Vietnamese cop clinging on to the windshield wipers of a large truck.

Runaway Speed Bus Singapore-Style Captured on Film

In the 1994 runaway hit film Speed, LAPD officer Jack Traven and Annie Porter - with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock in the respective roles, boarded a bus that had to keep moving above 50 miles per hour (80km/h) or a bomb would explode.

In the following incident that was captured by a dashboard camera of an adjacent passenger car along Alexandra Road in Singapore, there was no bomb on board but the full-size bus imitated the film speeding through a red light narrowly missing several vehicles and even a pedestrian crossing the road.

Taiwanese Truck Driver Takes Passenger Car for a Crazy Ride

Ask around and you will discover that many people are afraid of driving too close to large trucks on the highway, and judging by the following incident that reportedly took place in Taiwan earlier this month, it is a fear that is reasonable.

We can't say for sure if the driver and passengers of the sedan model were unharmed when the speeding truck hit the vehicle after it veered into their lane, but the outcome could have definitely been much worse.

Vietnam Cop Holds on to Bus' Windshield Wipers as Driver Tries to Escape Ticket!

We have heard many strange stories about police officers and drivers that try to avoid tickets, but what took place in Hanoi, Vietnam, this past Monday, surely takes the cake.

The man you see hanging on to the windshield wipers of a bus is not the local version of Spiderman but a very devoted Hanoi cop.

According to local news site Dantri, police officer Phan Nguyen Manh stopped the driver of the passenger bus, Phung Hong Phuong, in the Ba Vi District for a traffic violation. However, the bus driver refused to show his license and papers and instead chose to drive away, at which point, Manh jumped in front of the vehicle!

Karma Strikes Again: Civic Driver Chasing Scooter in Tawain gets What he Deserves

One can only speculate what took place before we see the black car, which looks like a previous generation Honda Civic hatchback, madly chasing a scooter on a road in Taiwan, but the driver's intentions are clear.

Luckily for the person on the scooter, the car driver miscalculated the gap between the parked cars on the side of the road and the yellow vehicle in front of him (or her), and ended up crashing.

Hover past the break to see the dashcam footage for yourself.

Trashy Payback: Motorcyclist Throws Garbage Back Into Car

You've seen it done by others many times, and perhaps even done it yourself at one point or another. We're talking about littering from the car.

Usually, there's not much one can do about it most of the times, but one scooter driver somewhere in Asia took matters in his own hands when he observed a vehicle passenger throwing out some trash from the window.

What did he do? He stopped over on the side of the road, picked it up, then approached the sedan and graciously threw it in back to its rightful owner! Watch the video after the break.

Formula 1: 2012 Malaysian Grand Prix Race Results

As the saying goes, you can’t judge a book by its cover. Likewise, you can’t predict the outcome of a race until the chequered flag drops.

Judging both from the first grand prix of the year, as well as Saturday’s qualifying practice at Sepang, the prime contenders for the top spot were the two McLarens, followed by Michal Schumacher in his Mercedes and, perhaps, Kimi Raikkonen’s Lotus.

Of course, no one in his right mind would not count Red Bull Racing's duo – or bet a dime on Ferrari winning the race. Well, if anyone had that inspiration, he must have quite a lot of cash right now, because Fernando Alonso won the 2012 Malaysian Formula 1 grand prix.

Formula 1: Malaysian Grand Prix Qualifying Results

Immediately after the 2012 season opener in Australia, the Formula 1 circus moved to Malaysia for the second race of the year.

In contrast to Albert Park, which uses public roads that are closed in order for the Grand Prix to take place and is a relatively easy track, the Sepang Circuit features an unusual layout, with a tight hairpin leading from the very long back straight to the pits.

In Australia, we got a first taste of each team’s pace during tge race. Apparently, the Malaysian GP qualifying session proved that the picture it painted was an accurate one.

All-New 2013 Chevrolet Trailblazer Unveiled in Production Guise, but will it Come to the States?

This is the production version of Chevrolet's all-new, body-on-frame Trailblazer SUV that you may remember being displayed as a concept at last year’s Dubai International Motor Show in the Middle East.

The 2013 Trailblazer will make its world premiere at next week's 33rd Bangkok International Motor Show (March 26 to April 8) in Thailand. General Motors said that it would go on sale around the world, beginning with Thailand in June.

Even though the Detroit automaker has not yet clarified if it will be offered in the States, there's a good chance it will as the Trailblazer is in essence the SUV variant of the new Colorado pickup truck that will be manufactured and sold in the U.S.

“True to its name, the Trailblazer will blaze the trail for new Chevrolet vehicles coming into the market," said Martin Apfel, president of GM Southeast Asia and Chevrolet Sales in Thailand. "It has been built tough to offer Chevrolet customers everything they need from a heavy-duty SUV,” he added.
