2014 Range Rover SUV Speculatively Rendered from Spy Shots

With recent prototypes of the 2014 Range Rover having dropped all of their heavy cladding and simply relying on patches of camouflage to hide the luxury SUV's styling from the prying eyes of scoop photographers, it was only a matter of time before someone attempted to photoshop the new model. Spy Shots: New Range Rover Strips Down to the Metal

These are by far our best pictures yet of the all-new, fourth generation Range Rover, as our spies managed to snag a prototype model without all the plastic cladding of the previous test cars.

Even though Land Rover engineers have covered select parts of the body with black and white decals that look like they came straight out of the Matrix, these new images afford us a clear view of the upcoming premium SUV's shape.

Watch a 500hp Ram SRT-10 Carrying a Life-Size Plastic Cow Race a Range Rover, X6M and ML63

As it turns out, adding a real life-size plastic cow to the bed of a Dodge Ram SRT-10 will not help you win a race, at least not one where speed is the operative parameter, but it will help you stand out from the crowd.

The cow-equipped SRT-10 featuring the Viper's 8.3-liter V10 engine with 500-horsepower went up against a Range Rover Sport Supercharged GT600 producing 600 ponies, followed by a stock Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG with 510-horses and a BMW X6M Evotech Stage 2 rated at 630hp.

There's a video just after the break for your enjoyment.

Kahn Design Applies Vesuvius Treatment to Range Rover Evoque

Aftermarket tuning house Kahn Design has borrowed the Vesuvius package first seen on the Range Rover Sport and applied the styling touches on the British firm's smallest model, the Evoque.

The exterior makeover is rather subtle. Aside from the Vesuvius orange finish for the body, the package includes a Matt Pearl Grey color for the center section of the front and rear bumpers and the front and side air vents, plus a new set of 21-inch alloy wheels and brake calipers finished in Vesuvius orange.

Land Rover to Spice Up Evoque with Victoria Beckham Special Edition

Now that Victoria Beckham has found some time to finish her work with Land Rover, the British automaker is ready to introduce the first special edition version of the Evoque compact crossover named after the former Spice Girl.

More precisely, Land Rover tells us that the new model is called the "Range Rover Evoque Special Edition with Victoria Beckham", though we'll have to assume that the company will probably put a disclaimer somewhere in the fine print saying that Posh Spice is not actually included with the car…

Project Kahn Unveils Sultry Red Ranger

Red isn't a color you often see on large premium SUVs like the Range Rover, but if properly done, it actually doesn't look half bad. Naturally, as with most other colors, it all depends on the shade of red, which can make or break a vehicle's looks.

The deep red used on Project Kahn's tune, hits the spot in our opinion and creates a nice contrast with the black accents such as the carbon fiber front grille, side air vents, front and rear bumper trims and the quad exhaust tailpipes.
