Balayya’s Duets In Switzerland
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Srimannarayana’ is currently being shot in Switzerland. Some songs are being shot on Balakrishna and the heroines in exotic locales in the country and shooting will go on for a few more days. Recently, the unit shot for some songs in Malaysia. Ravi Kumar Chavali is the director of the film. Isha Chawla and Parvati Melton are the heroines.

Ganesh Babu Severely Injured
Producer Ganesh Babu, the man behind the blockbuster film ‘Gabbar Singh’, is severely injured and he has been shifted to Kamineni Hospital. The producer was attacked by the relatives of a man who was injured by Ganesh Babu’s car on Sagar highway near Agavalli in Ranga Reddy district.
As per the initial reports available, Ganesh Babu’s car met with an accident on the highway and a local villager was injured. This led to heated arguments between the injured villager’s relatives and Ganesh Babu, who was then attacked all of a sudden.

Ram Charan Speaks On His Wedding - Interview
He will have two weddings -- one for the family and friends, and the other for his fans. Southern actor Ram Charan Teja, who will marry his childhood sweetheart Upasana Kamineni, says he is expecting 4,000 guests at each function and that Bollywood's names - Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan - will attend his wedding.
Son of superstar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan is making his debut in Hindi films with Zanjeer remake and says: "There's just no question of not inviting my fans."
Upasana, granddaughter of Prathap C. Reddy, founder-chairman of Apollo Hospitals, and Ram Charan got engaged in December last year.
Excerpts from the interview:
Q: So big day is around the corner?
A: Yup, I can't tell you what it is like. Upaasna is already my wife in my mind and heart and we are partying and attending poojas every night and catching up on some sleep during the day. On Sunday my father is hosting pre-wedding dinner and Salman Khan is landing here (Hyderabad) for it.
Q: When and where is the wedding?
A: Well, the first wedding is on June 14 morning at Upaasna's farmhouse (in Hyderabad), which we've converted into a banquet hall. And the second wedding is the next morning at the same venue.
Q: Please explain?
A: The wedding on June 14 is for family and friends. That's expected to be attended by around 4,000 people. Then the same evening we're hosting a reception for around 7,000 guests. The next morning we'll go through another wedding followed by lunch for my fans. We expect 4,000 people. But I suspect there will be a lot more people. And wait. It doesn't end there. On June 15 evening we're hosting a reception for the staff and family of the Apollo group of hospitals.
Q: A wedding specially for the fans?
A: There's just no question of not inviting my fans. They are a part of my father's and my extended family. And since we can't have so many people at one wedding we just extended the wedding into a double event.
Q: And the honeymoon?
A: Just a four-day break. We're yet to decide where we're going. But it will be somewhere quiet with no traffic or shopping. It has to be in India since I've to return in four days and resume shooting.
Q: Has your Hindi improved.
A: "Agar Hindi mein film karna hai toh Hindi bolni hogi." My first look for "Zanjeer" is out. I can't wait to know what Amitabh Bachchan saab thinks of it. He is coming here on June 14 for my wedding.
Q: Who else is coming from Mumbai?
A: Salman landed on Sunday with his friends who are also my friends... Salman wanted to spend some time with my dad. They go back a long way. Hope to workout with him. We've worked out together in Mumbai. Believe me, it was the toughest workout I've had. Salman made sure I didn't feel lonely in Mumbai.
Q: What about your friends from the Telugu film industry?
A: They've all taken time off to help with the preparations. Suriya, Shruti Haasan, Tamannah, Kajal Aggarwal, everyone. I left it to my fellow-actors to invite all my friends from the industry. Everybody has left their shooting to be part of the wedding preparations. It's like a family wedding for them. And considering this is the last wedding in my family, my two sisters are married, there is a lot of excitement.
Q: How do you feel about being a married actor?
A: I feel a man, when married, becomes more balanced. All the extra-curricular activities are done away with. The focus is on work and family. I am getting married young. I've known Upaasna for seven years. She was my best friend. Then we started dating two years back. So I am marrying my best friend. I can't ask for more. I sometimes ask her to switch off the wifely side and listen to me as a friend. She knows which buttons to press.
Q: How does she get along with your family?
A: You know, when I told her I am building a separate home for us at the Golf Course area for us to live in after marriage, she put her foot down. She insists we stay with my parents.
Q: That's so considerate
A: Well, she has a selfish motive. She says she can't handle me alone. She needs my parents' help. That was below the belt.
Q: So are you a spoilt brat at home?
A: I was pampered by all my father's directors and producers during childhood. But at home my father made sure I led a normal life.

Karthi-Anushka 'Bad Boy' In October
Tamil star Karthi’s Tamil film ‘Alex Pandian’ is being dubbed into Telugu as ‘Bad Boy’. Anushka will be seen as the heroine and the film is gearing up for an October release here. Gnanavel Raja is producing this film on Studio Green banner and Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music.
Sooraj is the director for this movie. The interesting point to note here is the fact that Karthi’s ‘Sakuni’ will be releasing in June and barely four months later, he is following it up with ‘Bad Boy’. Karthi is becoming quite popular among Telugu movie lovers and he is looking to capitalize on this trend completely.

Shriya And Bipasha Get Dirty With Sarees
The trend followed by glam gals is to show as much flesh as possible at public events when offers are not coming their way. Two such ageing heroines are doing the same thing now by getting dirty. Hot sirens Bipasha Basu and Shriya Saran are in the same phase now. With age reaching early thirties, the once celebrated sex-bombs are struggling to make a mark now.

History repeated once again in Hyderabad that our sexy actresses and actors will surely find ways to use drugs. A rave party was busted again in the city where drug flow is superfluous.
West zone police have raided a rave party yesterday evening to arrest five persons including a woman. Drugs like cocaine and LSD are seized from this rave party happening in posh three bed room apartment in Banjara Hills area. Some sources are saying that the woman caught is a popular anchor in a Telugu entertainment channel.
Tollywood is once again puzzled with the news of an anchor getting caught in drugs. But, police haven't confirmed this and the identity of the women caught in raid is still under cover. Case is registered only on four persons as other managed to escape including the woman, stated another Police source.

Tuneega Tuneega Movie To Release On June 22
Tuneega Tuneega, the debut film of Sumanth Ashwin, son of M S Raju, is reportedly going to hit the screens on June 22. M S Raju himself has directed the film. Tuneega Tuneega is being touted as a romantic entertainer with a twist and M S Raju is banking on its distinctive appeal to provide the perfect launchpad for his son. Rhea Chakraborthy is playing lead role and it’s also her debut film in Telugu. The film’s audio will be launched later today in a grand way. M S Raju has invited both Mahesh Babu and Prabhas as chief guests for the event. Karthik Raja has composed the music and Maganti Ramji has produced the film.

Fire Mishap On Sets Of Julayi Allu Arjun Escapes With A Minor Injury
The entire unit of Allu Arjun, Ileana starrer Julaayi had to face some tense moments recently in Ramoji Film City.A special Irani Hotel set was erected for the film and while the shooting was going on, fire broke out. Luckily, the cast and crew managed to escape from the spot; however, Allu Arjun suffered a minor injury on his thumb and Brahmaji too was hurt in this accident. After the doctors rushed to the spot to treat the burns and injuries, the cast immediately started shooting again. Trivikram Srinivas is directing the film and N Radhakrishna is producing the film. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music. The film’s audio will be launched tomorrow in a grand ceremony at HICC. Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan are expected to grace the event as chief guests.

Balayya as Ghost in UKUP?
Tamannah acted as ghost in Endhukante Premanta but the director could not convince the audience with the plot and now one more movie is being made on the same lines. The film is Uu Kodatara Ulikki Padatara, which is carrying good amount of expectations and the recently released trailer got good response from the audiences. Balakrishna is reportedly acting as a ghost in this film and this fact is almost revealed in the trailer itself. With the concept failed in Endhukante Premanta, the makers of Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara are reportedly worried if their movie will be accepted by people.
The movie is currently under going post production works. The makers are planning to release the movie towards the end of this month.

He is a Threat For Thaman?
Just like there is a season for heroes, directors and heroines, there is also a season for music directors. Anything they compose will end up as a chartbuster. Till now, the name of Thaman has been ringing strongly in the cine circuit but now it is heard that he is likely to face a threat from a young and talented music composer.
He is none other than Mickey J Meyer.
With ‘Gabbar Singh’ Devisri Prasad proved his consistency but with ‘Seetamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ Mickey has proved that he still has enough ammunition in him. The recent teaser has given a taste of what the music is going to be like in the movie.
So far, Mickey’s success track has been good and it is heard that due to his good relation with director Srikanth Addala, he got this chance and is making the most of it. The cine folks say that maybe the time has come to forget Thaman. This speculation might turn out to be true if Mickey does deliver some heart stirring melodies.
