Watch a Subaru Impreza Crash Into a House at the Targa Newfoundland Rally

Here is a video blast from the past, one that we at least, have not seen before. The crew from Motoring TV says the footage, which was posted on YouTube only a couple of weeks ago, was shot at a Targa Newfoundland race from a few years back.

You may remember the race from last year's highly publicized incident involving an Edo Competition Ferrari Enzo that took a dive into the Atlantic.

In this case, the video shows a Subaru Impreza race-car coming from around the corner a bit too fast with the driver locking the brakes and the car heading, and eventually, crashing into a house!

Now that's What we Would Truly Call a Rally Jump

Who said that impressive rally scenes only take place in Europe? This insanely long jump was filmed during last weekend's 2012 Rally New York. Sitting in the front seats of the Subaru Impreza STI Rally car were driver Cyril Kearney and his co-driver Mark McAlister.

However, instead of decelerating the car started to drift and turned around hitting a tree (fortunately with the rear end) at high speed. Despite the tremendous impact, Crazy Leo continued and managed to finish in second place! Watch the two clips right below the jump.

Subaru's Impreza-Based 2013 XV Crosstrek to Debut at the New York Auto Show

Following its debut launches in Japan and Europe, the new Subaru XV is now heading to the North American market where it will go on sale this fall as the 2013 XV Crosstrek after its regional premiere at next month's New York International Auto Show.
