Meet the Women Behind the 2013 Ford Mustang GT SEMA Project


Following Tuesday's announcement on the winning design for the first-ever 'SEMA Mustang Build Powered by Women', the Blue Oval has released a short video to introduce two of the driving forces behind the project, Ford vehicle designer Jennifer Seely and SEMA Project Manager, Sherry Kollien, to the world.

Seely was responsible for the design of two out of the three Mustang GT concepts, including the winning "High Gear" study that will be unwrapped in the flesh at the 2012 SEMA show in Las Vegas at the end of October.

Scion FR-S Speedster is a Concept Car Created by Cartel Customs


As it turns out, we were right to assume that the open-top 2013 Scion FR-S spotted at this past weekend's Formula Drift event in Long Beach, California, was a tuning concept.

The speedster version of the Scion FR-S was created by Cartel Customs, a California-based company headed by Jeremy Lookofsky, which specializes in the design and manufacturing of custom display vehicles and motorcycles.

While the name may not ring a bell, you've probably seen some of Cartel's work at previous SEMA shows such as last year's Scion iQ Pit Bull, the 2010 Scion xB Stretch Limousine and the 2009 Scion tC Low Rider concepts.

The company's new Scion FR-S Speedster drops the coupe's top and most of the interior appointments gaining a two-seat configuration with a mid-mounted instrument panel.

Bo Zolland Working on Custom 1968 Chevrolet Camaro with Supercharged LS3 for 2012 SEMA Show


After the retro-flavored styling kit for the Porsche 997, Swedish car designer Bo Zolland has now turned his attention towards a new build based on a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe.

"We made extensive body mods, but kept the Camaro looks. The roof section is original," Zolland told Carscoop in an email.
