Pro Touring 71 GTX
These 71-72 Road Runners and GTX are similar to the Gran Torinos in that they are visually hit or miss. This is a hit, and probably looks like the coolest example of the 71 I've come across, probably due to the contrast in black and yellow, and the huge meats in back plus the body color bumpers

Gary and Pam Beineke made the GTX they wish Mopar had produced, but these hardcore fans did it themselves with the best designs from other mopars
The 1969 recalled rims, 1971 Barracuda gills, AAR Cuda hoodscoop and chin spoilers, 1971 Go Wing
I posted a photo of this in July 2009, but didn't have a link to a gallery like you can use here: http://www.bangshift.com/gallery/1972-GTX-Jet-X-by-Gary-and-Pam-Beineke-gallery.html Saturday, 19 February 2011

The factory 1967 test GTX that is famous for the great lengths that Chrylser Research and Development engineers went through to make the Silver Bullet (a name coined by Ro McGonegal and the Car Craft story specifically) nothing less than a factory-backed car purpose-built for STREET RACERING on Woodward Avenue; running 10.60s at 132 mph or read Car Craft's write up (good one!) and full gallery http://www.carcraft.com/featuredvehicles/906_1967_plymouth_belvedere_gtx/index.html
