the Gnome Mobile was a 1967 Disney movie made right after Mary Poppins... and had Norm Grabowski in it, plus Walter Brennan, the Mary Poppins kids, and Ed Wynn

old 1960's movies frequently seemed to use plentiful junkyards... so many of those cars would be valuable today for restoration or spare parts.

Disney California Adventure park expands with a Cars Land (Radiator Springs from the Pixar/Disney Cars movies)

Disney California Adventure park guests will be racing through Ornament Valley and cruising down Route 66 when Cars Land opens.

Cars Land at the north end of Route 66 will feature Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, Luigi’s Flying Tires, Flo’s V8 Cafe, Radiator Springs Racers and so much more!

Dennis O’Brien from O’Brien Truckers created the Low n Slow car plaque

“The plaque is made of pure aluminum ingot material from a chemically engraved pattern. Each plaque is made using the time-honored sand-casting process, just like plaques made back in the 1950s,” said Dennis. “First we start by pressing sand against the pattern. Next, we pour molten aluminum into the sand model. Once it solidifies, the mold is broken apart, the casting is cut off and the piece is finished off in ‘Ramone’ purple.”

Tow Mater's disguises... and with all the monster truck posts I've had lately, here is his "Monster" truck disguise

Cars, and Cars 2... great movies. I've enjoyed all the full length movies I've seen from Pixar, and most of the short pre movie cartoons... the people at Pixar set a new standard for animation, and did an incredible job on how a world would look from the viewpoint of personable automobiles if people didn't exist

"Cars 2" movie from Pixar/Disney had a lot of small details of conversion to automotive looking architecture

they call it Big Bentley in the movie

They were right smart to label it Holden

Leave Spring under the above bridge, and replacing the cables in the London Bridge below

through out the movie you'll see statues of cars instead of people

I totally dig the wire wheel in the Eiffel tower, could be based on Kelsey Hayes, but who knows

the side of the Notre Dame looks like an exhaust header
