Akshay Kumar Saluted Ravi Teja
History of cinema knows that Dilip Kumar once saluted ANR after watching ‘Devadas’ saying, “I wouldn’t have portrayed the role of Devdas in Hindi had I watched the Telugu version before. ANR was unmatchable”.
Now similar thing happened but in a different tone. ‘Rowdy Rathod’ (Hindi remake of Vikramarkudu) got released and the critics thumbed down the film. Though the collectionsare impressive, many are not happy with the film. Akshay Kumar is so down to earth that he attributed failure, if any, for himself.
Sources say that he told his close associates that he couldn’t deliver the energy and conviction that Ravi Teja delivered in Telugu. At the same time he lauded Prabhudeva saying that he is successful in meeting the standards of Rajamouli.So, this is something that Telugu audience should be proud about.
