Strop in the name of love!

My dad gave me this stropping board yesterday.  Obviously, I come by my interest in curiousities honestly.  John Oakey was the first person to develop a commercial process for mass producing sandpaper, which he began to offer in 1883.  The company still exists today as John Oakley & Mohan Ltd. out of New Delhi.  Below, an ad for Oakey's products from 1930.
