From Russia With Love

"Matryoshka" is a set of wooden nested dolls, and "shashlyk" refers to roasted meat on a skewer.  I think we all know what "Sputnik" and "Vodka" are!   From Soviet Union Today, August-September 1967, a special handout prepared for the Soviet Pavilion at Expo 67 in Montreal.  Included articles like "Scientific basis for science" and "Does the Soviet Union consider it possible to Prevent a World Thermonuclear War?"  Sputnik burned up in 1958; the USSR in 1991.  Vodka is still around.
