Riding art: A blurry picture of artist Robert Breer riding on one of his own Mobile Sculptures created for the Art and Technology Pavilion, Expo 70, Osaka, Japan 1965. The sculptures were up six to feet high and six feet in diameter and were propelled by an electric motor which had a forward speed of eleven inches per minute. The mobile art would automatically reverse direction when it makes contact with another object.
